The Way I See It

The way i see it is not always the way it is. Has that ever dawned on you? It has for me, many times.

I had a situation recently where i took away a few details and created in my mind a potential problem. A day later, i realized there was no problem and everything was fine. But boy - i can sure work up things in my mind sometimes. Fortunately i have learned over the years not to act on my perceptions quickly, because they may not be correct.

The Lord spoke to me out of the Word on this from Proverbs 3:5,6 - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not to thine own understanding; in all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.

The part - "lean not to thine own understanding" stuck out at me as I realized how foolish it is. When my eyes are fixed on Him, He takes care of it all, and He can see all, and even if there is a problem, He is in control. He will guide me in what to do, etc.

Sigh. Thank you, Lord. Again. :)

I was just talking to Dani this morning, that in the case of women, I think our greatest struggles comes from the mind. God wired us a certain way...to be more perceptive, intuitive, sensitive...but if we're not careful, that can really run away from us! Thanks for proving a point!

I agree.

Thanks for pointing me to Dan's blog...I enjoyed the music post!

Have you found a music person yet? I thought I had an option or two but nothing has come of that, so, I'm afraid I'm no help.

thanks, Beth, for thinking of us. My husband is down at Pensacola this week recruiting teachers, so perhaps something will come of it.
Please keep us in your prayers.
