Light
After teaching Creation this last week, the Lord gave me these verses:
I Cor 3:6,7
"For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us."
Oh that He would shine in our friend's hearts and our lost relatives'hearts! The light is His and the power is His. Believing that He made us and the world is basic to understanding life.
On another note, we had a great Spanish fellowship last night with 44 in attendance. Some good food! A couple we have shared the gospel with recently came.
Please pray for the Spanish ministry.

Simply awesome. It is amazing in and of its self that His light even shines in our hearts. But I knoww hat you mean about wanting those closest to us to also feel such warmth. I recently had a friend - who's baptism played a part in my meeting my beloved wife - told me that in essence he only became a Christian because that was the only 'experience' he had available to him. *sigh*
I think that's awesome about the Spanish speaking fellowship. Amazing. May the Lord richly bless it and may His hand be upon you and those whom He brings. May His Spirit flood those meetings and may His glory be proclaimed!
